Welcome to the Directory of Qualified Professional French Translators. This Directory includes French translators, voice talents, subtitling specialists and other professionals for various flavors ("dialects") of French.
French translation services include European French translation, Canadian French translation, Haitian Creole, African French, South Pacific French - each dialect has additional dialect sub-groups. For example, European French has sub-groups for Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg. Except for a few disputed words, some of which are significant, there is a common "generic French" accepted across all countries.
There are surprisingly major differences between these French languages, and each reader knows the difference almost instantly upon reading your materials or hearing the audio in your video. Accent is key, and any listener recognizes the origin of voice recordings by sound.
